The Swamp Challenge was a local fitness competition located in Gainesville, FL. The Ben Hill Griffin Stadium (affectionately known as "The Swamp") is a local landmark and this competition was a really fun way to let the fitness enthusiasts in the area get a chance to compete on the same field as their favorite football team, the Florida Gators. The gator silhouette becomes the showpiece of the mark.
The main mark was set in a badge for maximum ease-of-use. Like a lot of companies of this size, you're going to have a lot of non-designers who will need to use the brand in a variety of ways. So to make this process a bit simpler, using a badge-style became the way to go.
